The host tried hard, even with a big language barrier. We booked a triple room with a private bathroom, but the bathroom was on the floor below the corridor and we had to share it with other guests, and it couldn’t be locked from the inside. The bed was very uncomfortable, made noise with every movement, and the mattress was so hard that we couldn’t sleep properly after 4 am because of back pain.

We didn’t take breakfast, but Irina was very kind, though her kindness alone didn’t cover everything. The value for money was disappointing. We stayed on the third floor, yet the toilet and bathroom were on the second. The pillowcases and fitted sheets were not very clean, and the gap between them was too large. There was no mini‑fridge in this large room with space, so to get a cold drink you had to store it at the host’s ground‑floor kitchen. Imagine she’s already sleeping and you’re thirsty for a cold drink—at that price I won’t go back.
