Conveniently situated, the owner was friendly, and it worked well as a stop between Jo‘burg and Namibia/Kalahari, though there were no bathroom doors to close.

The water served in a container was unclear whether it was tap or filtered, the pool had water, and the app didn’t warn that the pool was closed.

“Bad reception. But nice place beautiful place.”

Good quiet place with nice facilities as advertised. I had done an online booking reservation for my stay on “bookings.com” and wanted to pay in person but they continued to debit on my account bridging an agreement/choice of payment and the reference was “Cape Town” all without my consent. Receptionist was 90% on her phone, I mostly had to read between the lines as to what to do next without her speaking much with instructions and good reception. I wanted to pay for breakfast because I had not initially not included it on my stay,but due to her attitude I decided to have breakfast elsewhere due to her answers when I asked about procedure to pay for breakfast separate

“The stay was not nice at all.”

The furniture is old, drinking water comes in a glass bucket, bottled water isn’t offered and it’s unclear how long it’s been there, the place is overpriced for just sleeping and showering, and the area is noisy with neighbors playing music, snoring, and strange nighttime animal sounds.

“Comfortable, clean and friendly staff”

The rooms were spotless, we could check in early because we were traveling, and it was the first time some family members stayed here and they were extremely pleased.
