The place is very beautiful, and the staff are wonderful and very helpful.

The only highlight was the beach. The food was very bad, and we booked an ocean view room but there were no views because it was blocked by coconut trees.

The staff were amazing, very accommodating and friendly, and they upgraded me to a suite for free when I asked. The food was fantastic, especially breakfast, which was a perfect 10/10.

The location is great and you can reach it easily by car or public transport; the train station is right nearby. The staff were very supportive and met our requests, especially since we were traveling with an almost 8‑month‑old baby. The food selection was good, with a variety of breakfast options to choose from. The pool was well maintained and the beach was easy to access and quiet. The hotel could use some renovation and a bit more cleanliness, but it still met our expectations. The nearest supermarket, Keells Aluthgama, is about 5 km away (15–20 min on a Pickme Tuk), so if you need anything from a supermarket it’s better to buy on the way. We had specific diaper and baby‑food requirements that we couldn’t find in the shops near the hotel.
