The spot is gorgeous, high up in the mountains, picturesque and quiet, perfect for a calm stay. The food on site is decent, and the car ride down takes 15 minutes. The remote setting is lovely. The lodge staff are very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful.

The location and view are the main draws. I got hooked by the setting, but the wooden structure perched up on the mountain feels more like an ascetic camp than a hotel, with minimal comforts. Breakfast is plain, and note that pets are allowed.
