The place felt really calm and authentic, just the kind of spot you want to unwind in. Philippe was always around, friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd definitely stay here again.

The host was incredibly kind, the garden was quiet and pleasant, and we could even heat up our own meals. Having a bike shelter on site was a nice bonus, and we left feeling grateful.

“Très bien pour notre nuit après une fête à Ortheuville”

The owner was very welcoming and the location near the N4 made getting around easy while still feeling secluded. Unfortunately it was scorching hot and there was no fan, which made the room uncomfortable during the heat wave. I hope a fan gets added soon, especially with more hot days coming.

The room sits in an old, maze‑like building with a low, winding entrance, but inside it’s spacious, well‑equipped and even has a coffee‑pad machine. The bathroom is large with a shower, the bed is comfortable, and Philippe goes out of his way to offer a tasty breakfast for a small extra fee, scrambled eggs included if you like. The neighbourhood is dead quiet—perfect for a peaceful stay—though a few shower‑grout spots could use a touch‑up.
