Appartement Terazza, Oujda

I arrived at the owner’s place, and he drove me in his car, then started asking a barrage of personal questions—whether I was married, or single, etc. I told him I was alone, and after finishing the questionnaire, I mentioned that I would report the incident on Booking. That’s when he went completely mad, insulted me, and accused me of being a prostitute and of wanting to bring a prostitute into his home, all in front of passersby. I was deeply humiliated and could not stay there any longer, so I had to find another place. That night cost me a lot. I already shared my story with Booking’s customer service. Thank you. The owner’s disrespectful behavior was unacceptable; he should have told me that he only accepts married couples, yet I was alone. Why make me ride in his car and treat me like a suspect? I’m very disappointed and humiliated.

“Agréable et propre.”

The apartment is superbly located, just steps from the medina, and the grocery store right below the building is very convenient. It matches the photos and my expectations. The view of Oujda and the sunrise is magnificent. The host is very responsive and answers questions promptly. The apartment is clean. I’ll return. Stayed from 21 February to 23 February.

“Je ne recommande pas”

The apartment is large and beautiful, has everything we need, the Wi‑Fi works well, and the place is good. The downside: it’s on the roof on the 6th floor, so it’s VERY cold and I had to wear a coat. The toilets were very dirty (urine on the board, etc.); my wife had to clean them. The balcony door doesn’t lock, even though we’re on the 6th floor and I have children! There was no hot water when we arrived (the electric water heater didn’t heat). The elevator motor in the hallway makes constant noise as it goes up and down. Some windows lack curtains, especially in the toilet and bathroom, so anyone can see us when the lights are on—UNACCEPTABLE, especially in those rooms. Cleanliness is unacceptable: the bed covers weren’t even washed (not to mention the sheets), meaning I slept in the same covers people had used. The fridge is very dirty. The apartment door is hard to open and close, and the handle can get stuck in your hand.

“l'emplacement est idéal”

The accommodation was clean, and the panoramic view of Oujda was great. I’ll come back.

The location is good. The AC doesn’t work, and it’s hard to get in late at night because of a lock issue.
