The place is great and the staff are friendly, and the room is nice, yet there was no Wi‑Fi at all, which is a real problem these days.

The location is perfect for the ferry, but lunch was a bit late.

The hotel is close to the ferry, but the restaurant was closed when we arrived just after 8 pm, and on departure many menu items were missing; the staff’s lack of training caused a long wait.

The room was spacious with a great view, a luggage cart was handy for moving our bags, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels; it was quiet and parking was plentiful and easy to find. However, there was no Wi‑Fi in the rooms and no microwave; the gym was “out of order” and closed, the dining room staff were not very personable and actually unpleasant, and the Wi‑Fi failed, preventing us from ordering supper until it was rebooted.

We arrived by ferry, checked in, and decided to go to the restaurant around 7:30 pm, only to find the chef had closed early because it was too busy.
