“Feels like a resteraunt with rooms”

I was impressed by the dinner and breakfast menus, the food really stood out. The interior design is charming and the building itself is gorgeous, offering lovely country views depending on where you are in the hotel. Most of the staff were friendly. The hotel is tucked just off a major road, so the room view can overlook the traffic; if you book, ask for a room at the back of the property to avoid the road noise that spoils the view. The pool was small and cold. There isn’t much to do inside the hotel, so it’s more of a crash pad to reach nearby towns and villages. We didn’t get a very warm welcome or a lot of information, but the rest of the staff were very nice throughout our stay. From what we saw online and in the listing, it seemed more like a retreat outside the city, but the yoga and massages cost around €300 for a couple. I wouldn’t recommend staying at the hotel, but I would definitely dine there because the food and service were great at dinner.

“Terrible”

I had high hopes but was disappointed. It feels like an abandoned property; the staff never exchanged a single word with us and shared no information. Breakfast was terrible, we had to chase the server and go inside every time we wanted something. The bed sheets had stains, the bathroom toilet was broken and the water kept running, creating a very annoying noise. The AC faced the bed and caused headaches! I checked in with a server and never saw a manager on the property. When I checked out, no one asked how the stay was, and to top it off, while we were eating breakfast they started cleaning the room without checking if we had checked out. Very bad and I would never return.

The location was good and the villa was big enough. We were stuck outside because the entrance gate wouldn’t open in the middle of the night. Nobody answered our calls or WhatsApp messages until I wrote this message. The checkout process was also inconvenient. Since there was no one at reception, I left the key there, but when I tried to leave by car I found the exit gate was locked and could only be opened with the same key I had just left at reception. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and made it difficult to leave the property. Overall, the communication and entrance/check‑out instructions were unclear, leading to needless hassle.
