The employees were the best part of the hotel, from manager Akhilesh to F&B manager Mr Arora, who were very helpful and tried to meet every customer’s needs; Mr Arora kept us well fed and looked after us at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bathroom had a bad odor, the towels and toiletries were of poor quality, and a standard hotel like Clark’s should have better supplies of shampoo and body wash; the bottle of body wash and shampoo was oddly placed near the basin instead of the shower, the area between the main building and the restaurant collected water from the air conditioner and became dirty and possibly a mosquito breeding spot, and we saw a rat running around the restaurant, raising serious hygiene concerns. For a hotel that charges almost what a Marriott in Lucknow does, I expected a lot more.
