The staff were friendly and helpful, keeping our luggage until check‑in and putting it in the room when it was ready. Since breakfast wasn’t available at our time, they prepared a meal for us to take to the room. The plaster walls let us hear neighbors every time they used the bathroom, and at 3 a.m. we were woken by other guests’ voices. We learned that they’d showered and then closed the front door. Their shouting was loud and disrespectful toward those sleeping. Water from our shower leaked through the shower screen, partially flooding the toilet area.

The spot was handy for city visits and driving, with a garage just below that ran 20 € a day. The plumbing and wiring were under the floor, making steps everywhere that felt unsafe, and the room had no soundproofing so it was noisy. Getting in was tricky because there were two sets of stairs and the front desk was rarely staffed, which caused us trouble on arrival.

Breakfast was good, both sweet and savory. The old part of Bari is a 20‑minute walk away. Nothing to complain about, though a towel hook in the bathroom would be nice.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was mediocre, and the restaurant was full so we had to wait a long time in a noisy environment.
