The location is excellent, the room is comfy, and the balcony was a bonus with incredible views. The only issue was that the shower head didn’t attach to the wall, so my boyfriend had to hold it for me; I understand it might be a water‑conservation measure.

The hotel is excellent, with a great location at the start of the Manenon trail and close to taverns in the village.

Breakfast was excellent—we ate and relaxed. There’s also a restaurant next to the dinner area, which was great too. The room has a fridge and you can make coffee and tea. I forgot my walking stick, and to my delight we were given free walking sticks. All I was asked to do was return them at the end of the Manenon trail, at the coffee shop in the last village on the route, so they could be brought back to the hotel—no charge at all! Great service.
