The guesthouse was centrally located in a historic building run by a friendly older couple; the decor was homely rather than modern, but the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and was prepared to each guest’s preference.

The atmosphere was great, the hosts were very friendly, the house was beautiful, the location was excellent, the garden was lovely and very quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, enjoying a delicious breakfast and a comfortable room in a beautifully preserved period building with a lovely environment. However, I did notice that the room let in light due to the lack of blackout curtains, and the entrance gate didn't have a buzzer or bell, which caused some inconvenience upon arrival. It would be helpful to call ahead to ensure the owner is available to let you in. Overall, it was a nice experience despite these minor issues.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a disaster from start to finish. The outdated facilities were a letdown, but the real concerns were the safety issues and poor handling of problems. We experienced a chaotic and stressful night when the water heater broke in our family room, and we had to move to separate rooms at an inconvenient hour, which was particularly difficult with young children.
