First, this is an old, poorly maintained property. Mosquitoes buzz in the room, the location is awful, the food is terrible and pricey, and the bathroom is mediocre with corroded taps and no hot water in the shower. I’m surprised they’ve got a 4‑star rating; it’s misleading for guests.

The Ambrosia restaurant was excellent; we ate lunch and dinner there. I left my charger at the Jodhpur hotel, and the staff sent it on a bus to the Ambassador for me, then came to collect it – I really appreciated that. The shower only trickled, so I had to use warm water from a bucket.
