“Grossartig”

The rooms are very stylishly furnished, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is outstanding—thanks to Philippe for letting us enjoy the great venison dish. Nothing to complain about.

From the outside the hotel looks a bit old-fashioned, but inside it’s freshly renovated and modern. The staff are incredibly kind and extremely helpful. Because of the trail run in the area with an early start time, they prepared breakfast earlier for everyone. The breakfast itself was classic Swiss, and nothing was missing. In the evening we spontaneously stayed at the hotel restaurant; all tables were taken, so we were allowed to sit at the bar. The food was fine and the portions were really generous. The parking spots in front of and behind the building are very convenient. The only thing that stands out is the somewhat low ceilings, but that’s due to the old construction and is simply part of a historic building.

Very friendly service. Good breakfast. Good wine selection. Beautiful menu with tempting dishes – unfortunately we couldn’t eat here because we were invited to dine elsewhere.
