The location was very convenient for helping my son and daughter move and settle into university. The rooms felt dated and in need of refurbishment, essentially a piece of student housing turned into a hotel.

Overall, the experience was great: the view, the staff, and the cleanliness were all amazing, so I would definitely recommend the Broadview Hotel! However, in room 65 I struggled to move my luggage because I had to go up a floor first and then drag it down to reach my room, and I hope they address this issue.

The only positive was that it was close to my son who had just started at UEA. The shower was very basic, the curtain stuck to me, and the window could only be opened a little because the room was warm. I could hear people shouting and talking until 4 am, so my husband and I didn't sleep well. There were no water bottles in the room; when I went downstairs I found only one bottle of still water and no more could be provided. They also said the water dispenser would be switched off at 9 pm and could not be used after that, and there was no fridge. The room was expensive for what it offered.

The location was great for the university, but calling it a hotel feels a bit generous; it was basically former student accommodation and the rooms didn't match the photos.
