“Drury has become our favorite.”

The free food was decent. The room was comfortable and cozy. The pool and hot tub were nice. We were allowed early check‑in so we could unload our luggage before a baby shower. The mini fridge was too small; a mid‑size fridge with a freezer would be better. The complimentary drinks were weak. The bathtub was slippery. The dining room was crowded. There was an extra fee for upper floors.

The hotel’s proximity to the interstate and nearby attractions was a big plus, and the commute to other spots was short. I appreciated the free breakfast and dinner, and the complimentary drink of choice—something I rarely see elsewhere. The staff were consistently professional and attentive, never a single employee fell short. On the downside, when I arrived after booking through the app and requested a first‑floor room, the front desk lady politely explained that all first‑floor rooms were booked; app messages don’t always get through. We checked in around 3:30 pm, and when we reached our floor the room was still being cleaned. The cleaner rushed the job, even though we weren’t in a hurry, and left the bathroom dirty with hair in the drain and no garbage bags in the bins. I asked for a second cleaning before leaving after a week, but the bathroom still had hair in the shower and an old rag on the soap dish, and again no garbage bags. The beds were too soft and sank in, making it hard to get comfortable as I kept sinking into the middle.
