When we arrived in the evening, the hotel’s exterior lighting and pool impressed us, and its location on the main road to Ioannina was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed for two days. In the bathroom, bath soap was missing; we asked for more and received only partially filled small bottles, and the soap dispenser wasn’t refilled the next day. A lightbulb was missing above the bathroom mirror, so there wasn’t enough light for makeup. The showerhead holder was broken, so we couldn’t hang the showerhead. Breakfast was not served on time, and we had to wait 25 minutes. Moreover, the breakfast was basic, lacked aesthetic presentation, and was not at all befitting a 4‑star hotel. We sent our laundry to be washed and dried, but most clothes were still damp, so we had to send it back for further drying. When we received the laundry the next day, it was dry but wrinkled and unfolded—a standard that does not befit the hotel! We would have expected the reception staff to be able to communicate in English, rather than relying on Google Translate. All in all, we are extremely disappointed.

The location has good public transport links and the rooms are spacious, plus the breakfast is solid.

The spot is spot on just off the Egnatia highway and the staff are very gentle. On the first morning I messed up the breakfast time and arrived late, yet the lady still whipped up a quick breakfast for me and my family even though it wasn’t needed. I stayed twice; the first room was slightly better than the second, with more electrical sockets and perhaps a tea boiler that the second room lacked.
