The hosts were extremely kind. The apartment was cozy and spacious, with two terraces inside. The pool was always impeccably clean. A grill was available. Two air‑conditioners were a real comfort for hot Tuscan summer. The kitchen could have had better‑equipped utensils. Sound insulation from the upper apartment was poor; we heard every step.

I loved the location – the little apartment had a hill view and we saw plenty of deer, but sometimes it got a bit noisy with kids shouting.

The pool area was wonderful, clean, and the outdoor setting was peaceful, ideal for connecting with nature and having breakfast after a swim. The first‑floor room without a balcony had a steep staircase, and we were given a towel for wet pool items, but it could only be opened inside the room. The bed for the two 15‑16‑year‑olds was a sofa with a mattress that hurt our backs; we asked for a change but there was no help, so we had to endure the bad mattress. To enjoy breakfast outdoors we had to carry everything up the difficult stairs, whereas other rooms had a balcony with a table. The bathroom had no window and only motor ventilation. There were no shampoos or toiletries, but I didn’t notice that they were listed in the amenities.
