“The property was well located for the centre of Brighton, it was very clean and comfortable and good value.”

The location was convenient and the room was very clean. The drawback was the number of stairs, as my room was on the third floor.

I didn’t initially inform them that I was disabled, so I had to haul myself up two flights of stairs—my own mistake. The staff never emptied my bins or vacuumed, so I had to haul my rubbish down a hill and clean the bathroom myself. There was no staff present on the premises.

“Great value comfortable accommodation”

The location was great, the room was comfortable and quirky, and the instructions made it easy to get there. The only complaint was that there was no parking nearby.

“Quirky little 'Airbnb' type place but literally no water if you're on the top floor.”

It’s a quirky, charming spot that feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel, but its charm and location are undeniable. We stayed on the top floor and found there was literally no water coming out of the shower tap—after a weak burst that stopped mid‑shower, I had to leave the tap on for about 10 minutes before it finally resumed, still weak. I understand that being on the top floor during peak times might cause pressure drops, but a hotel should still provide water regardless of how many guests are showering; a water pump would solve this. Additionally, there was no reception staff, so getting in touch required persistence, though they were helpful once I managed to reach them. It was a shame because the location was great and the room was charming with a partial sea view.

“Great”

The location was spot on, close to transport, restaurants, the beach and entertainment. The room felt cozy and comfortable, and the staff were lovely and helpful.
