The apartment has a nice rustic vibe, it was clean and surprisingly quiet – perfect if you love being out in nature. We could watch lots of birds and even some huge chameleons around the lagoons. The only let‑down was the breakfast, which offered very few choices.

The whole place feels like it’s been left to decay; the décor looks abandoned and the bathroom actually flooded during our stay. It gave the impression that maintenance isn’t a priority here.

The room was downright filthy – frogs were everywhere, even crawling out of the tap, and there were mosquitoes buzzing around plus a massive lizard on the bed. We only managed one night before checking out early, and we’re still waiting for a refund for the second night we never used.
