The B&B La Dimora della Zarina sits right in the town centre, on the main square opposite the Cathedral. It’s a self‑contained apartment with three comfortable rooms, each with its own amenities. Guests are greeted at the entrance by a spacious common area that’s very bright and has been modernised with taste and creativity, excellent material choices and a keen eye for detail. A staircase—also designed by the owner, Mrs. Pina—leads to a mezzanine floor that houses another relaxing space and from which two small terraces can be accessed. The whole apartment, even the charming kitchenette, is not only pleasant but especially comfortable and welcoming. Hospitality is the word that best describes Mrs. Pina and Mr. Ottavio, her distinguished and very cordial husband. During our three‑night stay with my wife, we were welcomed by both with sincere and spontaneous friendliness, and we left feeling as if we’d spent a short holiday at friends’ homes. I can’t finish these brief notes without recalling the countless, delicious cakes prepared daily by our host. We will certainly return to Mormanno, not only to explore the Pollino area better but also to enjoy Pina and Ottavio’s hospitality.

Great property right in the centre, well managed by the very kind and friendly Mrs. Pina who pampered us every morning with her excellent cakes. The rooms were clean and well equipped, it felt like home. I recommend this place.

The apartment is exceptionally well designed, very comfortable and clean. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very generous with homemade cakes.

The apartment is clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Giuseppina and her children were very kind. Giuseppina made us a great breakfast and stayed to chat with us, making us feel at home right away.
