“If you seek rural bliss, comfort and ease - this is for you”

The countryside vibe was lovely, quiet and peaceful, and getting to Dorset spots was a breeze. All the self‑catering gear was there, and the bed was amazing—so comfy. The only downside was that the TV kept breaking up a lot, and while the dishwasher was handy, we probably needed more crockery.

“Good overall”

The Ferns was very cozy and I’d love to return. The free condiments were expired and no replacement was offered; we were also scolded for walking our dogs on the property field, told it was private property that they rented, so we weren’t allowed there. We apologized, but it would have been better to know the rules from the start to avoid embarrassment, or to see a sign stating it was private. A table leg was broken with sharp wood splinters, the salt and pepper pots were empty in the cupboard, the toilet was broken and had sharp edges.

“5 night stay”

Spacious, comfortable and ideal for families. Highlights were the great layout, well‑equipped kitchen, ensuite bedrooms, and a safe, enclosed garden for the kids. A few furnishings could use an update, but that didn’t affect our stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely cosy little place, just right for myself, husband and 5 yr old. Just enough space for the 3 of us. Lov f the huge bed super comfy!. When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous people who had stayed there. However when we phoned the owners they were lovely, apologetic and arranged for the cleaner to come over- he arrived quickly and cleaned up everything, provided clean towels and changed the bedding
