It was clean, but the “exercise room” was the size of a small closet and my room faced the freeway, which seemed to be only 3 feet away, making it incredibly noisy.

The staff were friendly, but the breakfast ended too early, the express lane was noisy, the air conditioning had a strong odor, and the water from the dispenser tasted awful.

I asked for a room away from the freeway, elevator, stairs, and ice maker, and every request was granted; the room was quiet and clean, check‑in was swift, and the receptionist was very nice; dropping the key cards at the front desk before leaving early was convenient. However, finding the hotel entrance took time and better signage—especially at the gate that opens the fence—would help; in the bathroom a towel bar and hooks near the shower would let you reach a towel without getting out of the tub, and an extra mirror outside the bathroom would be useful if the room is occupied.

The location was spot on because I wanted to revisit my hometown, but I usually stay at Marriott for their smart TV and this room lacked one; the bed was rock‑hard—so stiff I had to bring an eggshell pad, and the night was a torture.
