Tribu Hostel sits 50 m from Holbox’s white‑sand beach, just three blocks from the fishing village center. Its bright décor, mosquito‑net rooms, and shared dorms feature free Wi‑Fi and en‑suite baths. A garden with hammocks, roof terrace, communal kitchen, BBQ, and bar host movie nights, jam sessions, and kite‑surfing lessons. Nearby Yalahau Lagoon offers dolphin sightings and rare birds.

The location and the staff’s service were great. One day the room smelled like urine, and we never found out why, but overall the room didn’t have a pleasant scent; the power was cut for CFE maintenance, which also stopped the water supply, so we had no water at noon for the bathroom. A better solution would be to supply water independently of power cuts. The mattress was too old and sagged completely on one side.

It’s a very pleasant place, the staff are very friendly and attentive, they organize activities to socialize and connect with others, like the karaoke night. The air conditioning and room cleaning are good. I would definitely stay again. It’s very close to the beach and they serve good coffee every morning. The only downside is that there’s only one shower per room, but that didn’t affect the stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place is just a stone’s throw from the beach. It’s a bit too quiet, and the activities weren’t the most exciting for my taste.

L'emplacement et l'accueil.la clim ds la chambre. La musique du bar extrêmement forte. La cuisine fermée à 1 certaine heure et qui n'ouvre qu'à 7h. Donc impossible de se faire 1 the ou de venir récupérer votre eau au frigo. Pas de tissu autour du lit pour garantir 1 peu d'intimité.( pourtant les tringles sont presentes)
