“Historic Gem in Galle Fort”

What a wonderful little hotel! The building is a historic villa and it’s so charming. The location is perfect in Galle Fort—very easy to walk everywhere. It’s a quiet retreat and staying there feels like staying at a bed & breakfast. The best part was the staff, all of them so lovely. They made a feast for us each day for breakfast and were so kind to our little boy. Highly recommend staying here for a unique boutique hotel experience. Nothing! Everything about our stay was delightful.

“Top in Galle Fort”

Bellissima struttura all’interno delle mura del Forte di Galle. Tutto eccezionale.: pulizia, staff, servizi e colazione. Camere e bagni stupendi e dotati di ogni confort. Consigliatissimo!!!

A beautifully curated property, furnished to a very high standard. I loved the little details from the Herman Miller chairs in the room to the incredibly comfortable bedding. Breakfast was excellent, and the complimentary aromatic coffee available throughout the day was such a nice touch. Honestly, we didn’t expect the meals to be this refined and so thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful. Sitting in the garden, surrounded by birds and the rainforest-like greenery, I found myself slowing down and even reflecting a bit on life something I rarely get to do while traveling. As someone who travels often, I can genuinely say that La Muraille is one of the best places I’ve stayed to truly switch off and unwind.
