The location was excellent, close to the center yet quite quiet. The price of the breakfast pushes guests away from the hotel; it’s an unbalanced cost for those who want a traditional Iberian breakfast. A more comfortable and balanced option should exist for those who don’t want a continental breakfast. The alternative is to use the local offerings and just stay at the hotel for the night.

The staff were very friendly, the dinner was very clean, and the breakfast was tasty and of good quality.

The location was great. The staff were wonderful. Everything was very clean. We couldn’t figure out how to order eggs. The staff were very nice. No one in our party spoke Spanish, so this was on us.

It’s not the first time we’ve stayed here. We always have a great time. The staff are very friendly and available. At the restaurant the employees are super, Portuguese or speaking Portuguese. Always lovely. Everything is great!

The room was decent, but the tower was closed, probably because they were doing work for a day! The inn itself is shut down. It feels like a defensive castle that isn’t really suited for a hotel; there’s no interest at all. Inside, there’s nothing antique, no old furniture, and the garden looks abandoned. There’s no view, not even from the restaurant.
