The property was clean and offered good value. Breakfast had a self‑serve cereal and toast station. There was no microwave.

This place is a real gem—very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with helpful, friendly staff. The on‑site restaurant served lovely meals and met dietary needs. The continental breakfast was super convenient. It’s very central, within easy walking distance to explore the town, and it has its own history.

The location was convenient. When we checked in, our room had half a dozen blowflies flying around and dead ones on the windowsill. The shower cubicle stayed wet, and the tiles in the shower and bathroom looked dirty.

The community and staff were great, but when I asked for a cheese and ham toastie, the staff didn't know how to use the appliance. She tried, but it was cold and the cheese and ham weren't even warm enough to be called a toasty, so I didn't have the heart to complain. The overall maintenance needs a major overhaul: my door to the apartment area looked like it had been kicked in, the lock was loose, and water damage on the door made it difficult to open and close.
