Pietrele Doamnei

“A place to go back again (and again)...”

We spent five fantastic days at "Pietrele Doamnei" and loved the beautiful surroundings on the Trans-Rarău road; the balcony view was breathtaking. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout, and the location was ideal for exploring Bucovina. On one day we visited the monasteries of "Moldovița", "Sucevița", "Putna", "Sihăstria Putnei", and "Chilia lui Daniil Sihastrul", rode the "Mocănița" from Moldovița to Argel, saw the charming village of Ciocănești, climbed to "Pietrele Doamnei", and ate great dinners at "Tălger – Punct Gastronomic Local" (a 3‑minute walk) and Hanul Păstrăvarului (a 2‑minute drive or 20‑minute walk). It was a peaceful and memorable place to stay, and we would definitely return.

“Teapa”

Camera prea mica( nu are 16 m2) ptr prețul piperat, lipsa frigider in camera, restaurantul este doar cu numele ptr ca dacă dorești micul dejun sau cina, trebuie sa ii anunți de dinainte( ca trag ei o fuga si îți cumpăra ceva proaspăt de mancare) , in interiorul restaurantului sau a selei de mese miros puternic de umezeala . Este destul de incomod sa mergi prin iarba uda de la parcare pana la ușa pensiunii. Nu înțeleg de ce nu a făcut o mica alee ptr circulat. Personalul a lipsit in totalitate. Chiar si la plecare, ptr ca să pot plăti , a trebuit sa sun după cineva. Destul de urât. AM FACUT REZERVAREA TOCMAI PTR CA AU SPUS CA AU RESTAURANT. NU POTI NUMI RESTAURANT CAND OFERI O CINA PE CARE TREBUIE SA O ANUNTI DE DIMINEATA CU PRET FIX DE 75 RON PE PERSOANA. RESTAURANT ESTE CAND AI UN MENIU IN FATA SI ALEGI TU CE VREI

“Pobyt w tym obiekcie spełnił moje oczekiwania i pozwolił się zrelaksować.”

The location is close to the mountains and very quiet, with a spacious room, a bathtub in the bathroom for a relaxing soak after tough running, and a balcony overlooking the peaks. The kitchen was roomy but a bit under‑stocked, yet we managed fine. No complaints.

“Cazare foarte proastă !”

The location on Trans-Rarău is good, but there is no path from the parking to the building—my trolley went through cut grass. The room was very small, the bed was old, there was no power outlet, no glasses, no extra pillows, a small TV, no fridge, no electric kettle, no table, no luggage rack, no balcony table, no cat or dog. The restaurant was non‑functional: you couldn’t even have a coffee or juice. The price was very high. They never issued a receipt, tax invoice, or bill—evacuation? Four stars are too many. There are two buildings—maybe the other one has different conditions. Booking never listed such a place. Don’t go there; I don’t recommend it.

For the price per night, it could be much better. The conditions are few and the food is expensive for what it offers.
