“Excellent location anf great individuals”

I was welcomed by brothers Feras, Mohammed Al‑Samahin, and Sari Qasim, all of whom were great. The hotel itself was nice. Mohammed and Sari helped me arrange tours to all the key sites in Petra. Walking all the way up to the Prophet Haroon shrine on the mountain was amazing.

The reception was warm, the food was good, the place was quiet, the air‑conditioning worked, and it was clean. I had trouble getting the Wi‑Fi code.

“I wouldn't want to come back here.”

Breakfast was only offered on the last day. On the first day the staff was asleep, and although I could cook in the kitchen, no one washed the dishes and it was dirty. They cleaned it the next day, but that was after I had already left. When I arrived I was left alone with no internet. They finally set up the internet on the last day, after I no longer needed it. A guy tried to sell me a mule at an unacceptable price and was very pushy. Petra itself is beautiful, but this Bedouin village is remote; you have to walk a long way or hire a donkey. No Wi‑Fi, staff absent for two days, and the location is poor.

The owner was very nice and the rooms were fine; the price was reasonable compared to the very touristy area around Petra, though the bedsheets didn't seem fresh.

The location was great with a beautiful view, the hosts were friendly and everything was clean, but we didn't like the gap under the door that led to the hallway and would have appreciated a hook or some storage space in the room.
