The hosts speak fluent English, which is a huge plus, and they’re always ready to listen, communicate, and help with any issue—from locked doors to missing items or transport advice. The apartment was impeccably clean, the beds comfortable, and even the spare bed earned the guest’s “best sleep of my life.” The room smelled nice, and the elevator to the 5th floor was a major convenience. We did encounter problems with train travel—delays, a station that didn’t stop for us, announcements only in Italian, etc.—but we adapted, and we wouldn’t trade the central location for anything else. Breakfast remained the same, but as described it was an Italian‑style breakfast, so what was promised was delivered.
