Glamping on small, old boat in Karlskrona

“Inte värt det”

The photos were AI‑edited and didn’t match reality. It smelled like diesel and old sewage water. The boat wasn’t securely moored, risking drifting from the dock. Parts of the rig were loose. The equipment shown in the pictures, such as a cooler, wasn’t there.

Sleeping on a boat was a totally fun first-time experience. The harbor is conveniently located with eateries within walking distance. Finding the boat and checking in was easy, and the host was very helpful. The sheets didn't feel fresh, and the gasoline smell was bothersome when trying to sleep. Everything felt damp, and we also had rain.

I really enjoyed staying on the water. The boat is well equipped, with a small fridge and the ability to cook simple meals. There's a toilet that's 5 minutes away, but the shower is about 20 minutes through the city. That wasn't clear from the original description. It was fine for us, but it might not suit everyone.

Cheap and central. A new experience staying on a small sailboat. It should have been made clear that the toilet and shower are 1.5 km away. The water tank was empty, and the unwashed plates had stuck together. It worked for a solo stay, but it was too cramped for two people.

“Enkelt men en upplevelse”

Good, actually fantastic, with a great view of the city and Borgmästarefjärden! Enjoyable to be on the aft deck when the weather allows. An unusual experience. There’s a fridge and the necessary kitchenware. The host provided good information. Value for money. The toilet is a bit far, and naturally uncomfortable to get to. It requires some planning. The cabin is cramped for two people, but that’s part of the charm. The mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable. I never found the marina’s service building with a toilet, so I used the hotel’s instead.
