The location was fine, but the bathroom was dirty and the shower was tiny, as if they didn’t intend to give you enough water for a proper wash.

The décor was charming, with the lobby styled like an old ship complete with vintage radios, bar‑style chairs, and a motorcycle; the hot water was good. Breakfast was acceptable and the location convenient, but there were no bathroom facilities and room‑service cleaning was lacking.

The air‑conditioning was good and in good condition, which mattered to us coming from Northern Ireland. The only downside was that it wasn’t far from town.
