The bed was good, and tea and coffee were available in the room. The room‑service staff were sloppy and loud: the shower gel was empty when I showered, the cosmetic towels were empty, the staff entered the room loudly at 7 am and turned on the light (even though a coat hung in the hallway cloakroom and shoes were on the floor), and from 10 am the radio blared over the hotel corridor while rooms were being cleaned. The reception staff, though friendly and very eager, could only do so much. The hotel and room: the room above the fish market (the hotel’s own bar) was noisy until 23 h, food smells from the restaurant rose into the hotel hall and spread up to the seating area on the first floor, which is open to the corridors and the hotel hall. The price‑performance ratio (150 EUR only for the night without breakfast) was not fair. After that I stayed in a stylish small hotel for less, with wonderful breakfast, heavenly quiet, afternoon tea, and a fireplace very close to the sea – there are better options!
