“It was a nice stay bit needed some tlc”
The historic Victorian building was beautiful, but the location was in a rough area. Many items were broken, including the cues for the pool table, the shower head, and one side of the oven didn’t work. The outside was dirty with lots of cigarette butts in the gardens.
“Happy with facility unhappy with parking”
The rooms were very spacious and clean, but the advertised parking wasn’t accurate. You couldn’t use the parking area unless you had a very small car; we had to find another spot for our medium‑sized vehicle, and the turning space was simply too tight.
The spot is great, but getting a regular car into the parking is a nightmare.
The place was central to the attractions, but communication was poor. On the first day we told the staff we didn’t have enough bath towels for everyone, yet after three nights we still left without any. We had to use hand towels and the bathroom floor towel to dry ourselves, and the bathrooms were not very clean. Old food in the oven attracted many flies, and cigarette butts littered the yard. I was disappointed with the lack of communication and customer care.
