The location was great – it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, a nice break from reality. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I also felt pressured to book a tour of a local village – it wasn’t listed as an option on the hotel’s website, but a manager pushed really hard for us to do it. It absolutely felt like a scam or tourist trap.

Everything was absolutely perfect, no exceptions. It was, without doubt, the best choice of the whole trip. Bachir, the owner, was incredibly attentive at all times, as was the entire staff: always kind, smiling, and ready to help. The khaymas are decorated with exquisite taste, cared for down to the smallest detail. The food is delicious. An unforgettable experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Everything perfect.

The tents were beautiful. The site as well. The wifi connection was terrible and the place was very expensive for what it offered.

We spent a great week at this Merzouga camp. They make you feel at home, while you’re in the middle of the desert with amazing dune visits and all the comforts. Thanks to the whole camp team, especially Hassan for his kindness and organizing the excursions; a big hug to Bachir and his family for giving us a dream holiday in Morocco.
