The staff were amazing, the restaurant offered a great view, and they even picked you up from the bus drop‑off point.
The location, stargazing, view, outdoor sitting area and dinner were all great, but we all felt sick afterward. The check‑in and guest management were lacking; there was little welcome or even a simple smile. Breakfast was okay but could be better, and the music was so loud at night that even from a distance you couldn’t enjoy the peaceful desert night.
“If you want to go to wadi rum you have to book here for the full experience”
If you ever plan to visit Wadi Rum, this place is the most perfect spot for you to book—don’t look any further. Starting with the location, it’s easily accessible by regular cars, has a car park, yet it gives you the full desert experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the dinner tent is spacious, and the night music and tea were amazing. The dinner was very diverse and good, but I advise leaving your plate empty until you get to the Zarb because that’s the best thing you’ll taste. It was crowded at the start of the night but not in a bad way; day tourists had dinner and left, a few families stayed and the place became cozy and lovely. The most memorable experience was the stargazing—drifting away from any light source, watching the stars as a blanket covering the earth is simply magical. We also booked the jeep tour and sandboarding. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, with a clean and large bathroom. Everything was basically perfect.
The tours and location were spectacular. I had a good stay overall; the staff were friendly, the desert tour was excellent, and the accommodation was comfortable though a bit untidy. The main reason I’m not giving a higher score is that one of the owners invited me to a late‑night stargazing activity. I expected to be with other guests, but I was taken separately. As a solo female traveler, I felt uneasy when we left the camp in the dark and was asked to turn off my phone’s flashlight. I decided not to continue and returned to my tent. Nothing inappropriate happened after I declined, but the situation made me feel uneasy and I think it’s worth mentioning for other solo travelers.
It’s really good; I can 100 % recommend it. Dinner was good, breakfast great, and the atmosphere feels safe and relaxed. The only issue is the loud music from the dining area in the evening—it’s fine when you’re there, but when you move to your tent to experience the desert night, it disturbs a bit. Otherwise, the place is perfect in my opinion.
