The dinner was very good. The whole night a sensor light on the ceiling flickered, which was very annoying.

The place feels family‑friendly, homely, and welcoming to guests.

I liked the room, it was nice, and the internet was okay. After a long workday, I arrived at 7:15 pm—knowing the staff expected me after 7—and found no one, the place was dark and locked. I called several times, only hearing the phone ring; tired and freezing, I waited 20 minutes, then a neighbor appeared and asked if she had a contact for them. Thankfully she was outside, otherwise I’d have had to find another place. She helped me. No one was there, the main door wasn’t locked, I didn’t have a key to lock my room, and at 2 am someone entered the building (or perhaps another guest, who knows) which frightened me so much that I didn’t know who it could be, couldn’t lock my room, and finally the person obviously flushed the toilet, so I calmed down thinking it might have been another guest. No apology was offered; it was very weird and definitely the worst accommodation. I travel for work and sleep in hotels 85 % of the time; none of my colleagues will ever visit these people.

Only the two of us were served breakfast, which was perfectly fine. The blackout curtain for the roof window was a downside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling, and I’m pretty sure they don’t even know the word “no” :)
