I needed to stay one night between flights, and it was a great option for its price. The room was warm and the bathroom was warm too, but the synthetic bedding was very itchy.

A great hostel in a very quiet spot, 10 minutes by taxi from the airport, 30 minutes from the Oy-Karagay ski resort (Lesnaya Skazka), 30 minutes from Almaty‑2 station and the city center, and a 15‑20 minute walk to a big shopping mall. The location fit us perfectly. Check‑in was contactless, and the place was clean, cozy, and comfortable.

The location is great, just 10 minutes from the airport, and the staff were friendly even though I checked in at midnight. The bathroom feels a bit old, but for that price it’s totally okay.

Excellent location, a big plus that it’s near the airport. The hostel itself and the grounds are clean and pleasant. The owners are great.
