The place was exceptionally clean and quiet. My 11‑year‑old son loved the water slide, and the friendly orange cat added a charming touch. It’s an ideal spot for a barbecue and for relaxed reading beside the river, surrounded by trees and squirrels.

We ordered breakfast at Brokastis, which was very good. The location is easily accessible, and there’s a nice view of the Daugava River nearby. However, the room was designed for a family, yet we were two adults and four children. The kitchen counter only seats two people; a much larger one and additional chairs would be helpful.

A quiet, cozy spot tucked in a forested area on the banks of the Daugava River (Western Dvina). The rooms are clean, with river views, and offer the ideal setting for those who cherish silence. I stayed from Thursday to Friday with my son’s family; I can’t say what happens on weekends, but I suspect the owners would not allow much noise. Everything was fine, no complaints.
