Hotel Miranda at Desa Wisata Berastagi

The staff were very friendly, helped us find transport and made sure we were as comfortable as possible, but the area is rough and the sleep was rough too; there was no running water—outside the owners’ control, though a pump could bring water to the shower on request. Air conditioning and television didn’t work, but it was cool up in the mountains so heat wasn’t a problem. The windows didn’t seal completely, so expect wildlife at night. The bedding was subpar: only throw blankets and a few pillows, and we had many bugs and bites in the bed.

The place is clean, cheap, and beautiful; the staff were very nice and even took me to the village for my taxi ride. If you need to shower, you have to ask the staff.

“Good stay in Berastagi”

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its impeccable cleanliness, breathtaking views of the plantations, and the warm hospitality of the staff. However, I encountered a few minor issues, such as the lack of running water in the bathroom, which was compensated by a large bucket, and the hotel's somewhat distant location from the city center, making walking a bit of a challenge.

“Como en casa”

I was thoroughly impressed with this accommodation, which exceeded my expectations in every way. The family who runs the place is warm and welcoming, with Caroline going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. I would have no hesitation in returning if I ever find myself back in Berastagi.

Very nice hosts, basic but clean room, complimentary tea coffee and biscuits, good value for money, good for a couple nights in Berastagi. Room was a little worn and outdated, and water not always available
