Royal Dream's Hotel

Nothing good. The hotel was a wreck. Rooms were only 8 meters, no toilet paper, tiles fell off in the shower, cleaning was poor, the toilet rim was sprayed with something I couldn't identify. I would rate it 2 out of 5 and do not recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast was okay. The hotel’s location was very good. It looked nicer from the outside than inside. Staff were friendly, but the room was very small.

Good location, pretty hotel, but better in hot weather; I wouldn't recommend checking in during off‑season because of hot‑water interruptions and a cool room even with the AC on. The rooms were cozy, breakfasts tasty, and a lovely lady named Seda helped with issues. Staff were generally friendly. We arrived late at night and had to freeze in the room until it finally warmed up. It wasn’t clear which days cleaning happened; on day 5 everything was fine, just a bit cool. When hot water disappeared, we couldn’t resolve the issue for three days; the staff honestly said the heater was broken or not working, so we had to wash with a kettle. A young man at reception turned on the heater, checked that it was cold, but no further solution was offered. The AC also had to be turned on manually by following instructions because the receptionist couldn’t help. Technicians were called only after contacting booking support. On the third complaint the director came, kindly offered to fix everything or move us, but since the hot‑water guarantee wasn’t given, we moved. The owner didn’t mind refunding the remaining nights. Booking has yet to resolve the compensation.

The staff were wonderful—helpful, accommodating, and spoke Russian, offered us a room change and let us use the stove and washing machine when the hotel was almost empty in late November. Breakfast was ordinary but tasty and fresh, with eggs, vegetables, cheese, cereal with milk, bread and spreads, and we could get tea and water anytime; the balcony looked out onto a tree, creating a cozy atmosphere. On the downside, the room was rather cold at the end of November; after being moved from a corner room to another with a tighter door but still a gap at the bottom, we could heat the space with the air‑conditioner but turned it off at night, feeling chilly under the blankets on the tiled floor without slippers—something that might be fine in summer. Also, the shower had only a single partition and a low threshold, so water flooded the bathroom floor, and we ended up drying our feet with just one towel.

There were no blankets in the room, but they were brought immediately upon request. The room was clean. There was no hot water, and it was November outside. We approached the administrator, who said he would turn it on and that water would arrive in 30 minutes; we waited until check‑out, but it never came.
