A charming castle hotel. Still under development but already very good comfort. The owner personally takes care of everything. There were no disadvantages for us as guests in the overall pleasant package.

Chateau de la Grange Moreau is a very lovely and interesting property outside of Le Mans. We stayed in a pair of adjoining rooms which was perfect for our family of four. Both rooms were beautiful and thoughtfully updated with modern comforts. Christian, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us a nice welcome aperitif and booked us a lovely dinner in the area. It was a wonderful little visit

The castle’s owners were fantastic hosts—warm, open, and let us roam the grounds freely. My three kids and I spent a tranquil afternoon by the beautiful pool, while the younger ones played on a small playground. It was the ideal pit‑stop on our way from London to Île de Ré. The rooms are stunning; the restoration was superb, keeping the historic charm while staying clean and modern. The homemade food, featuring on‑site vegetables and jams, showcased the owners’ excellent taste, especially in the wine selection. I truly loved everything and wish I could have stayed another night.

The host was very friendly and open, always ready to find solutions that made our stay more pleasant. I came with a friend for the Mans Classic, and parking was a breeze—cars were parked right in front of our entrance. Security was perfect, and the garden invited us to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The chateau and its grounds are gorgeous. The pool could use more sun loungers, and while the evening meal was nice, we felt it was a bit overpriced.
