The courtyard was pleasant, the room was spacious enough, it was very quiet, the breakfast was good, there was space for bicycles, and the restaurant next door was good.

The biggest disappointment for us was the price-to-standard ratio. The accommodation was clean and maintained, but the price is, in our opinion, far too high. It is one of the most expensive places in Hradiště, and the offered amenities and overall comfort do not match that price. The overall interior design gave us more of a boarding‑school feel than a hotel of this price range. Moreover, the toilet leaked all night, which the staff did not even find surprising when we checked out. At the price we paid we expected a far higher standard.

The location was excellent. The room was modestly equipped: no bottled water, no hotel slippers, no sewing kit, only basic shower gel and handsoap. The glass for toothbrushes in the bathroom was dirty. The room wasn’t cleaned daily and towels weren’t changed. The most unpleasant surprise was breakfast, which was served until 9:30. The selection was poor, and an employee began adding food just before closing. She brought a new plate of fresh crêpes at about 9:28. When we served ourselves with those crêpes, she approached us at about 9:32, upset, and in a very arrogant tone said that breakfast was only served until 9:30 and it was now finished. She repeated twice whether we understood, delivering a rude and unacceptable communication style for a four‑star hotel.

I booked a room at Mariánský Dvůr, but the photo on the site looked completely different; we ended up with a small, dark ground‑floor room that I think belonged to the nearby Pension U žáby.
