Breakfast was tasty, and the pool and hot tub provided a lot of fun. It’s very close to Winthrop, and there’s a fantastic pizza place just down the street.
The hotel sits at the end of town, and having a pool is a real perk when the summer heat is intense. The rooms are fairly old, and the air‑conditioning makes a lot of noise, which is a bit annoying for sleeping.
The spot’s perfect for hiking days and trails, and even though our room faced the road, traffic was light and silent. Breakfast was solid, giving a warm start to the day, and the pool, sauna, and hot tub were great for easing sore muscles after a hike.
