The entire team was highly professional, courteous, and friendly. The only thing we’d change is having a more secure parking lot, which would be a nice addition.
We searched for a hotel that was pet friendly. When we booked it we were not asked if we were bringing pets. We arrived and checked in. When we left the hotel room 20 minutes later I was stopped by the front desk attendant and told I had to sign a form and pay an additional 75 dollars for a pet fee, after we checked in and took out belongings to the room. This information was not disclosed at booking and the fee was half the hotel cost again (we only stayed one night) We never would have selected this hotel had we known, and when I responded to the text the hotel sent with these concerns I did not receive a response
The front desk lady that handled our overnight check‑in was friendly and chatty, and the bed was so comfortable we overslept. I couldn’t get a checkout extension because I’m still moving around with a broken foot, but Doorfash delivered our order at 2:30 am without any problem after we returned from a concert. The floor was dirty, there were band‑aids on the smoke detector, and we had to pay for parking even though that wasn’t mentioned when we booked. The room wasn’t wheelchair accessible; there’s only one door, and my knee scooter was hard to maneuver through the narrow lobby. A 6‑inch curb blocked the luggage cart, the hallways and elevators weren’t air‑conditioned, and I hit my injured foot on an exposed metal bed frame that wasn’t obvious.
“Wanted to experience some local jazz music but was a little further away then expected”
The staff were outstanding.
“Didn’t end up staying”
The photos were misleading, and the neighborhood was awful.
