“A very convenient and economical stay in the Art House district”

The Guest House sits in the middle of the Art House district, making it very convenient and quiet. There's a shared kitchen, one toilet, a sink, and a combined shower/bath. My room was on the second floor, about 11’x 9’, with a futon, a small TV, a fan, and an AC unit, which was a relief given the high humidity and heat. The local bus stop is close for trips to the museums, or you can rent bikes or walk. As a 65‑year‑old, climbing the steep stairs to the second floor was a bit of a challenge but doable, especially since the kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. My room sat at the top of the stairs, with a small shoji‑style window in the door, so light from the stairs and the sounds of other guests moving up and down seeped in. A solid door would have blocked the light and reduced noise, but the other guests were very considerate, and I didn’t notice them until checkout. There are also rooms on the lower floor.
