I surprised my daughter with a stay at Novotel Sofia so we could catch a concert at Arena Armeec (Arena 8888 Sofia), and the hotel made the occasion truly magical. The staff went above and beyond by upgrading our room for free, and when we entered it we found a beautiful complimentary dessert plate and a thoughtful Happy Birthday card for her, making her 16th birthday even more memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing before and after the show. The hotel also offers free underground parking, which made driving into the city completely stress‑free, and it sits right next to The Mall, which was incredibly convenient for a quick bite and some shopping before the event. Though it’s not in the city center, the proximity to the arena, the ease of parking, and the hotel’s incredible service and attention to detail made this trip an unforgettable celebration. We highly recommend Novotel Sofia for anyone visiting Sofia for an event or special occasion, and we’ll definitely return!

I can’t stand walking barefoot, and there were no slippers in the rooms. Luckily, after asking, they brought me a pair. There was no hair detangler either, and that was a problem 😞

The hotel is very beautiful, the view is amazing, 100 m from the huge mall, the breakfast is varied and high quality, it’s very clean and indulgent.
