Parking was available on site and check‑in was super easy; the staff were very friendly, and this was my second visit, but the Wi‑Fi and TV didn’t work.

The place was spotless and the location was great; Kevin was helpful, though when we asked for a different room after the first night of our 4‑night stay he said no because he was fully booked, and the bed was awful at first—so bad I could feel the box spring—but by the evening he had swapped in a new mattress, so thanks Kevin.

The spot is great in Salthill, just a 2 minute walk to restaurants, bars and the promenade, yet it’s far enough from the bustle to sleep well; the accommodation is clean enough and the owner is very nice, but it would be nice to have breakfast options.

The location was great, the place was very clean, and the owners went above and beyond to swap rooms for the elderly travelers who couldn’t climb the stairs to the upper rooms; nothing was missing, it was all good.
