The house, freshly renovated, radiates old‑world charm and attention to detail, fitting wonderfully into the adjacent historic quarter.

We were greeted warmly, and our bicycles were safely stored in the covered courtyard; our Superior room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the small square, thoughtfully furnished, and ideally positioned next to the Beffroi in the tiny medieval town. Restaurants and a supermarket were just around the corner, and the breakfast terrace—or rather the lovely view from the breakfast room—was delightful. The breakfast itself was good, featuring fruit, yogurt, cereals, sausages, cheese, pastries, and more. (The Eckbadewanne lacked a shower curtain, and we could hear other guests walking on the magnificent old parquet floor, but it didn’t bother us.)
