We’ve stayed at this hotel about four times now, since we often travel to Armenia for work. Honestly, we’ve always been very satisfied. Check‑in works smoothly, everything is straightforward, and we asked for our room to be cleaned daily; we just put a “please clean” sign on the door, and the staff would also ask if we needed cleaning. No one ever entered our room without permission. Reception was always staffed, and the team was friendly and helpful, even assisting with non‑hotel questions, which we appreciated. I actually told a friend about this place. She read some reviews and then came back to me with concerns, so I was a bit surprised because our experience was completely different. We’ve always had a positive stay. Everyone is friendly, service is good, and staff are always willing to help. Another big plus is the location: it’s right in the city center, yet surprisingly quiet. The last time we stayed, there was some road construction nearby, but this time everything was clean and quiet. Even though all five rooms were occupied, it felt like we were the only guests. It’s incredibly peaceful. We would definitely recommend this hotel 100%. We’ve stayed several times and always had a good experience. We’d happily come back again!

Close to Republic Square. After reading the latest reviews on Google Maps, I realized there’s a recurring problem with how bookings are handled here. We booked last minute after a scam with a previous place, so we specifically chose a suite to avoid issues. We chose it based on the description, photos, and the fact that we were paying for a suite. A few days later, the “hotel manager” (not the official channel manager) contacted me via WhatsApp and said their “channel manager” had made a mistake and that the price of the suite listed was incorrect. She then asked if we wanted to keep the suite by paying a higher price or be moved to the room we’d already paid for. That explanation was hard to believe. Looking at other recent reviews, it seems we’re not the only guests who’ve had booking and pricing problems. I can’t say exactly what’s happening behind the scenes, but there’s a serious lack of transparency. If a hotel makes a pricing or booking mistake, the customer shouldn’t be blamed. We booked and paid for a suite, chose it based on photos and description, and expected to receive it. Instead, we were told we might not get what we paid for. Since we needed accommodation in Yerevan and didn’t want another last‑minute problem, we accepted the situation. Then at check‑in, no one opened the door. Someone from the bar next door eventually opened it for us. There was also no one at reception, which, again, seems to be a recurring issue in other reviews.

The best part of this place is its location. The room is okay and comes with a good‑size fridge for water and other things. The rubbish was only collected once during our 6‑day stay, and the sheets never changed. The room opens with a regular key instead of a key card, which feels a bit odd. The A/C is quite old, and there is almost no space to hang coats or store clothes. Toward the end of our stay a sewage smell came from the toilet/bathroom, and there was no safe in the room.

The hotel is fantastic, with extreme comfort and an unbeatable location. It’s pleasant, clean, and easy to use as a base for city excursions—everything was perfect in that sense. I didn’t quite grasp the staff schedule; reception was almost always empty, but anyone at the bar would help if they understood you, which wasn’t the norm, probably because they seemed “absent” (like a group of friends running the whole place). Our room faced the bar’s terrace; there was noise, but it was tolerable. What struck us most was that we had two stays, one of 5 nights and another of 3, and on the penultimate night people were in the bar until 6 am, meaning the terrace stayed busy until then. I still found the noise tolerable. However, the last night we went to the bar around 1 am for a beer, and the bartender that day told us the bar was closed, closing at 12 pm. I mentioned that the night before they were open until 6 am, so he replied, “It was Friday night, you know?” I don’t need to know or tolerate noise until 6 am (last week on Sunday there were laughs until 3 am, you know?). They only served beer if we paid in cash, so we did that, and with the same confusion we left the hotel the next day.
